Theoretically, a lithium-ion battery can be “fast” charged to 100% capacity. It cuts down on energy expenses, as it is at least 96% efficient. A Li-ion battery can load up to 50% of its charge capacity in only 30 minutes.
Because Li-ion batteries can be recharged repeatedly over a short space of time, lift trucks can be powered with a Li-ion battery with a lower installed capacity than that required for lead acid batteries.
